CASTING ALERT – SHORT FILM, NON-UNION

Still looking to cast a speaking role in our short film “Complicated.” As it’s a low-budget independent production, we can’t offer pay, but can provide meals/credit/copy and a well-organized, professionally run production that should be a lot of fun. We’re aiming for high production values and the finished product should be great for a reel. Planning to submit to major festivals.

Audition Dates: Video submission by Thursday, May 30, with callbacks on Saturday, June 1.
Rehearsal Dates: Sunday, June 2, with additional dates the following week if possible.
Start Dates: June 8 & 9. (We’re asking actors to also keep June 15 open as a safety day, though we don’t think we’ll need it.)

Rate of Pay: Non-paid, with meals, credit, and a copy of the finished film provided.

Storyline: “Complicated” is a lighthearted comedy in which a man running a small talent agency enlists the help of his employee/best friend to convince their top actor, a young girl, to stay with the company.
