CASTING CALL:
Description: Independent short film shooting in December—A story about the strained relationship between a mother and her teenage son.
Role: The Mother.
Role Requirements:
Female
East Asian
40s-50s
VERY fluent in English (lots of English dialogue)
VERY CONFIDENT in acting ability (tough, emotional, nuanced scenes)
Preferably: someone who has experience raising a teenage son. (more authenticity to the role)
Work requirement:
2 month period for memorization
3 On-location rehearsals
2 sessions MAX of actual shooting
Pay: Negotiable
