Open House is the next episode in our Tales Often Told anthology series.?This series is being developed by Rinky Dink Productions, Ltd. for a new streaming platform in development.

This episode, “Open House” tells the story of a young couple, who while looking for their next home, discover the gruesome truth behind the home’s past and the man claiming to be its owner.

Roles:
Bicycle Boy (7-12 yrs)
The narrator who tells the story of the episode, warns a local realtor about the events that occurred in a nearby home. He moves the story along through his narration, and provides the pacing of the episode. He appears in the prologue and epilogue of the episode. Although an innocent child, his past has made him wise beyond his age.

Father (30-40yrs)
It is revealed at the end of the episode that the home a newly wed couple toured belongs to a murdered family tied up in the basement. Father is found with his neck cut; this role requires no dialogue.

Mother (20-30yrs)
It is revealed at the end of the episode that the home a newly wed couple toured belongs to a murdered family tied up in the basement. Mother is found with her neck cut; this role requires no dialogue.

Oldest Son (12-16yrs)
It is revealed at the end of the episode that the home a newly wed couple toured belongs to a murdered family tied up in the basement. Oldest Son is found with his neck cut; this role requires no dialogue.

Youngest Son (7-10yrs)
It is revealed at the end of the episode that the home a newly wed couple toured belongs to a murdered family tied up in the basement. Youngest Son has his throat cut by the Antagonist; this role requires no dialogue; but does require fearful facial expressions.
