PASSING SHIPS (10 pages) – A college student tries to make sense out for the dating world.
Will (mid 20’s – male): While Will was in school, he wasn’t as focused on romance. As a result, none of his relationships have gotten very far, and he’s still a virgin. Now that he’s settled down, he’s looking for a serious relationship, but his luck hasn’t been great so far. He’s had an on-again-off-again crush on Kayla since high school.
Kayla (mid 20’s – female): Kayla is currently looking for a new job. As a result, she isn’t looking to settle down quite yet, so she often goes to parties and keeps her eyes open for new hookups. She’s been Will’s best friend since high school, but she does not want to be any more than friends with him.
Matt (mid 20’s – male): Matt is Will’s roommate. He knows Will pretty well, and he tries to keep Will’s spirits up by taking him out with friends.
Derek (mid 20’s – male): Derek is another of Will, Kayla, and Matt’s friends. He occasionally hosts parties at this place to give his friends a place to hang out.
