Casting Call – South Asian Indian Kids.
A feature-length Hindi/English film shooting in New Jersey this summer. Stars veteran actors of Indian cinema and created by an experienced crew from NY / NJ.
1. ARJUN – Older Brother. Age 13-14 years. American born in an Indian family. The family is Brahmin originally from Madhya Pradesh. This kid is overweight and gets in trouble with the bullies at school.
2. ADVAIT – Younger Brother. Age 7-8 years. American born in an Indian family. The family is Brahmin originally from Madhya Pradesh. This kid is super- cute. Best bud of the family dog. He loses his towel in front of his grandpa.
3. MAYA – Older Sister. Age 17-19 years. American born in a South Indian family. A troubled teen with disregard for people from the lower strata of society.
4. MANJARI – Younger Sister. 7-8 years. American born in a South Indian family. She and the younger brother from the brahmin family are in the same class and take the same bus to the school. She is close to the housemaid and spends more time with her than her parents.
