Casting Call for Tyler Perry’s “Sistas” TV Show in Atlanta

Tyler Perry’s BET television show Sistas has a casting call out in the Atlanta area.

That’s right, Tyler Perry’s series Sistas has been renewed for another season and the show’s extras casting directors are seeking paid extras in Atlanta.
The casting notice for the paid background actors needed is listed below. Please only apply if you are local to the Atlanta area where Sistas films and you match the descriptions required.

Tyler Perry’s Sistas airs on the BET network and as generally the rule with Tyler Perry shows, it is written, directed and executive produced by Tyler Perry.  Sistas follows a small group of black women, single black women who are not actually related, but share some common ground within their friendship.  The show has a focus on the relationships within the group as well as some of their outside relationships with others.

It’s the ups and downs of modern life, which includes careers, friendships, romances, and even social media. The comedy-drama series features Andi Barnes, an ambitious divorce lawyer, Danni King, a funny and fearless airport employee, Karen Mott, a street-smart hair salon owner, and Sabrina Hollins, a smart and stylish bank teller. The TV show takes viewers on a roller coaster ride of emotions and moments that epitomize “squad goals.”

NOW CASTING PAID FEMALE and MALE EXTRAS, Ages 18+, All Ethnicities to portray extras for Tyler Perry Studios hit show “SISTAS” Season 6, in Atlanta, GA.

We are casting for the following specific extras for these scenes:
-PROUD/GAY Bar ( RAVE PARTY)
Filming: Wednesday November 16, 2022
Testing: (Covid Test: Tuesday 11/15 @6AM-9AM)

• Race: ALL RACES
• Age: 18 and up
•  Rate: $90/8 + $25 Covid Test
•  Prelim Call Time: TBD (Please have open availability on day of interest)

WE ASK THAT WHEN BOOKED AS A PAID EXTRA, YOU BE PREPARED TO WORK AT LEAST A 12HR WORK DAY AS WE DON’T KNOW HOW LONG YOU WILL BE SPECIALLY ON

SET. SO PLEASE HAVE OPEN AVAILABILITY FOR THE DAY YOU SUBMIT FOR.

COVID TESTING:
The new policy at the studios is that 1 MANDATORY COVID TEST the day before work is required whether you are vaccinated or not. You will be paid $25 for each test taken.

Must be available for COVID 19 testing at our remote testing location in Atlanta. No outside Covid test from anywhere else will be allowed. If interested in working this position and these dates, testing goes as stated above with the specific filming dates.
-Testing is NASAL PCR and you will receive a $25 COVID TESTING BUMP on your voucher the day you report to set for each test taken. YOU MUST REPORT TO SET TO RECEIVE THIS BUMP! Tests from other productions are not valid on this set as each production has their own Covid guidelines and labs. Your results must come from the designated lab that all cast, and crew use on this production.
The rate for extras on this production is $90 for 8hrs of work (Paid time in a half each hour after 8hrs), which you will receive in the form of a check in the mail 2 to 3 weeks after filming.
