UNCONDITIONAL (concept trailer, for a feature we’ll shoot next year)

CASTING CALL!
We are shooting a (non-union) concept trailer for our horror feature March 31 – April 2 in Niles, Michigan. We need our 4 main characters cast for the trailer – you would also be top of mind when it comes to casting for the feature shoot. Lodging will be provided and a small fee – we’re still working on the budget but to be upfront, it won’t be much, the concept trailer is coming out of our own pockets.
We need:
SHARON – mid 30’s – sharp, narcissistic, abusive and competitive with her 11 year old daughter. Has an intelligent sense of humor but mostly uses it to manipulate people. Passes for a nice person in most adult situations because she’s learned it makes everything easier.
HANNAH – 11 – Sharon’s daughter. Blames herself for things almost as much as Sharon wants her to, but the glimmer of sanity and hope in her life? Her cat, Bert. She’s actually not as meek and beaten down as Sharon assumes, because in the back of her mind, she knows that something is off – because she has an example of what love is actually like from Bert. (Bert dies in the film, spoiler alert – it sets off her arc. Hannah is the main character.)
DANNI – 30’s to 40’s – Ellowyn’s sister. They’re psychics, and a TEAM. Danni is tough on the outside, soft on the inside. She puts up with absolutely no shit, but Ellowyn pulls her back from being a full on 24/7 warrior. Fights make sense to her, but mostly because she’s so aware of how many people are suffering and she very simply, like a child, wants things to be okay.
ELLOWYN – 30’s to 40’s – Danni’s sister. They’re psychics, and a TEAM. Ellowyn is soft on the outside, tough on the inside. She’s the face of the business. She has an amazing ability to smooth things over, even if her sister has literally just kicked down your door (happens in the film). She may seem like the one cleaning up after her sister, but really, they ARE on the same page, backing EACH OTHER up.
