Literally Alive – Alice in Wonderland the Musical

Casting an original musical production of “Alice in Wonderland” in NYC to open at the Players Theatre! (115 MacDougal Street – Greenwich Village)
Runs Sept 30 through Nov 5th. Rehearsals will begin on Aug 15 and Tue-Wed- Thu afternoons with a few Saturday mornings. The shows are Sat 3p and 7p /Sun 11a and 2p with occasional Thur school shows at 11a at the Players Theatre.
This is a non-union production. Pay is $30 per performance with additional pay for understudies and a small rehearsal travel stipend. All rehearsals and performances are at the Players Theatre.
The production is produced by Literally Alive Family Theatre – now in its 24th season in NYC – and in residence at the Players Theatre in the West Village.
Callbacks are in-person only (sorry we do not do video or online callbacks) and are on Thursday July 27th in the afternoon at the Players Theatre.
Seeking adult actors of all types who sing and move well for a variety of character roles including:
White Rabbit: moves well. Nervous rabbit who is always late
Mad Hatter: quirky and wild
Mock Turtle: Slow and lazy
Gryphon: a bit of a know it all
March Hare: A bit mad and loves to laugh
Door Mouse: a sleepy, sweet, adorable mouse
Cheshire Cat: Female – Feisty feline (Doubles as Alice’s Sister)
King of Hearts: Any gender – a bit of a fool but he doesn’t know it
*** Please note that the roles of Alice, The Queen of Hearts and the Caterpillar are cast but we will be seeking understudies
