In the pilot episode, ‘Twin Engines’, Max & Oliver want to go to Zoomers, the new amusement park that features a racing track with kid-sized racing cars. Before they can go, mom decrees that the boys must clean their room, a space that would make Marie Kondo retch. The twins convince Margaret to lend them her family’s maid, who is supposed to clean their room and be gone before either parent gets home from work. The best laid plans sometimes go astray; Max and Oliver’s foolproof scheme is no exception. The boys scramble to get the maid out of the house under mom’s nose, even if they to squeeze her heft through their bedroom window, which happens to be on the second floor. Also, they discover they are short on cash to pay to the maid who threatens to tell their mother who is headed upstairs to their room during their price negotiations. Worst of all, the boys have promised Margaret a kiss from each of them for use of her maid, a promise that they would rather die than keep. Max & Oliver have dug themselves into a hole, albeit a neat & tidy hole. The chance to go to Zoomers looks like it has driven away until an unexpected ally steps in.

Loves Steph Curry, The Warriors and sports in general. If he doesn’t grow tall enough to play professional basketball, he plans to own a franchise.
OLIVER BROWN

Max’s fraternal twin. Younger by 3 minutes. Charming, proactive, headstrong. Always down to implement Max’s schemes. He is not above begging to get his way, loves sports and building things. His focus is purely on the present. Tomorrow can take care of itself.
THE MAID

Lori Beth Denberg type. Chunky, quirky. quippy. She is uniquely herself, Caucasian in speech and mannerisms, surprisingly well-acquainted with Black culture, but never crosses the line to appropriation. Sharp comedic timing.
