CASTING CALL for Nightmare
Currently working on collaborating along with another writer/actress to write and film a horror short film. we are seeking actors/actresses to cast for lead, supporting and minor speaking roles.
Synopsis plot: when a mysterious individual called the shadow man is killing people in Millie’s dreams. she and her friends must figure out on how to get rid of the individual before anyone else gets killed.
Horror film project – Intend on filming this summer in 2023 but films Dates are TBD.
Compensation: credit, snacks, meals.
filming location : location is TBD. but we intend to film in either Atlanta Georgia or both Georgia and Chattanooga Tennessee.
Breakdown / Roles:
(Lead Characters)
Tyler Johnson -( 17- 19 year old male, any race ) he Is the deuteragonist of the film. He is the older brother of Millie and is the older child of Mr. and Mrs. Johnson. Her can be mean every once in a while but he’s mostly outgoing and confident. He plays football and plays video games.
Nicholas Levine – ( 17- 19 year old male, any race ) he Is one of the tritagonists, alongside Amanda Hayes of the film. He is a classmate of Millie’s and is on the basketball team. He’s Charismatic, Loyal, Confident, Enthusiastic, Fervent, and Easy Going.
Amanda Hayes – ( 17- 19 year old female , any race ) she Is one of the tritagonists alongside Nicholas Levine in the film. She’s described as Funny, Smart, Kind, Generous, and Naive. It’s not known what happened to her mother but she lived with her Father Frank Hayes and her dog Oliver before her father died.
(Supporting Characters)
Charlotte Miller – ( 17 – 19 year old female, any race ) she Is a supporting character in the movie. She was best friends with Millie Johnson and was in charge of the year book club and was captain of the color guard. She was killed alongside Frank Hayes. Her described as Clumsy, Kind, Diligent, Easy-going, funny, and generous.
Frank Hayes -( 30- 40 year old male, any race ) he Is a supporting character in the movie. He was the father of Amanda Hayes and was the dog owner of Oliver. He works as a Carpenter. He was killed alongside Charlotte Miller. He was described as Loyal, Humble, Warm-hearted, and Demure.
Officer Aaron Matheus – ( 30- 40 year old male, any race ) He’s a supporting character in the movie. He’s a police officer at the Southwell Police Department and he was one of the police officers that was sent to The Millers and the Hayes House when Charlotte Miller and Frank Hayes were killed. He’s described as Ardent, Boisterous, Charismatic, Clumsy, and Kind.
Bruce Macleod: ( 30- 40 year old male, any race ) He’s a supporting character in the movie. He’s the chief and detective at Southwell Police Department. He’s described as Generous, Humble, Irascible, and Independent.
(Minor Characters)
Mr. Johnson – ( 30- 40 year old male, any race ) He is a Minor character in the movie. He is the husband of Mrs. Johnson and the father of Millie and Tyler. He was a good friend of Frank Hayes. He’s described as Diligent, Enthusiastic, and Funny.
Mrs. Johnson – ( 30- 40 year old female, any race ). She is a minor character in the movie. She is the wife of Mr. Johnson and the mother of Millie and Tyler. She is a stay at home mom. She’s described as Kind-hearted, humble, Intelligent, Enthusiastic and Funny.
Mr. Willis – ( 30 year old or older male, any race ). Mr. Willis is a minor character in the movie. He is the history teacher at Southwell High School. He’s described as Open-minded, Funny, Intelligent, Intelligent, and Enthusiastic.
Lucy – She is a minor character in the movie. She was the family dog of the Johnsons and was the first victim of The Shadow Man in Millie’s Dream. She’s described as Loyal, Friendly, and Gentle.
Oliver – He was a minor character in the movie. He was the family dog of The Hayes. He’s described as Loyal, Hardworking, and Eager to please.
Front Desk Lady – ( 30 year old or older female, any race). front desk lady She is a minor character in the movie. She worked at the front desk at the police station when Millie and her friends walked in and she was the one that called Millie for her to speak with Bruce Macleod. She’s described as Hardworking, Humble, Loyal and Kind.
Pizza Delivery Guy/Girl: ( male/or female 18 years old & up, any race). the pizza delivery guy/ girl Is a minor character in the movie. They’re the one who delivered the pizza to Millie and Tyler’s house when Nicholas came over. She’s described as Boisterous, Ardent, Diligent, Hardworking, and Kind.
Principal James : ( male/ or female, any race, any age ). James is the principal of the school the kids attend at. He or/ she is either heard or seen making an urgent announcement to all the classes
Reporter #2 – ( male/ or female, any age, any race ). reporter #2 He or she is a reporter who works along with Carol green at the news station and he’s seen interview one of the victims, who was attacked by shadow man and survived.
Max – ( female or/male, any age, any race ). max is a citizen who’s seen along with him or/her dog in a news interview being questioned by a reporter regarding after him/ or her being got attacked and survived by shadow man.
Frank Hayes – ( 30-40 year old male, any race ). frank is . a supporting character in the movie. He was the father of Amanda Hayes and was the dog owner of Oliver. He works as a Carpenter. He was killed alongside Charlotte Miller. He was described as Loyal, Humble, Warm-hearted, and Demure.
