Memphis Grizzlier are holding auditions for kids and teens to join the Memphis Blue Bunch which is a promotional, spirit crew for the NBA’s Memphis Grizzlies.
The Memphis Grizzlies have a few different cheer squads that help promote the games and one of them is an all kids crew. NBA Grizzlies are holding auditions this summer for children ages 7 to 17 that would love to tryout to represent the Grizzlies. Auditions will be coming up in July and there are workshops available for kids that would like some tips in landing the roles.
Memphis Grizzlies Grizz Girls Holding Open Call
The Memphis Blue Bunch is a vibrant group open to both boys and girls between the ages of 7 and 17 who possess a passion for dance and performance. Prospective members are required to bring a dance resume and an 8×10 headshot to auditions, held in closed sessions not open to the public. Judges will be scrutinizing candidates based on dance ability, showmanship, professionalism, personality, and maturity, with tumbling skills preferred but not mandatory. Successful candidates must commit to attending rehearsals, games, and promotional appearances, which typically take place on Saturday or Sunday afternoons.
Rehearsals are closed to outsiders, ensuring an exclusive and focused environment for team members to hone their skills. On game days, members are expected to arrive three hours before tip-off to prepare for their electrifying performances. Joining the Memphis Blue Bunch isn’t just about dancing—it’s about dedication, teamwork, and the thrill of igniting excitement in every fan’s heart.
