“Dragons’ Den” is a Canadian television series that provides a platform for aspiring entrepreneurs to pitch their business ideas to a panel of seasoned and affluent business magnates, often referred to as “the Dragons.” Originating from the concept of the Japanese show “Money Tigers,” the Canadian version has become a significant success.
Entrepreneurs present their innovative concepts, hoping to secure investment deals that can propel their ventures to new heights. The Dragons, each a highly successful entrepreneur in their right, assess the pitches, questioning the viability and potential of the business proposals. The show offers a unique blend of entertainment and entrepreneurial insight, showcasing the challenges and triumphs of those pursuing their business dreams.
Auditions for season 19 of “Dragons’ Den” will start February 2024. Casting directors for the Canadian show will be hosting both virtual and in-person auditions in a few select, major cities. The online auditions are now open and those that make the cut will be contacted to schedule an in person audition for the show.

The renowned CBC series, “Dragons’ Den,” renowned for showcasing innovative business concepts to a panel of influential Canadian business tycoons, is gearing up for its 19th season and inviting auditions.
Auditions will be conducted virtually and in-person in select major cities.
Auditions for season 19 will kick off February 2024. We will be hosting both virtual and in-person auditions in a few select, major cities. Check out this page for details about in-person auditions in Toronto, Halifax, Montreal, Kelowna, Vancouver, Calgary and Winnipeg. All applicants must apply through this online system, regardless if you are attending an in-person audition or a virtual audition.
We will start contacting select applicants in February 2024 to schedule an audition. Those who are invited to film for the show will need to be available for 1-2 days in Toronto in May 2024.
Application deadline is April 6th, 2024.

Looking for more auditions in Canada?
All applicants for season 19 must apply online, regardless of whether they’re auditioning in-person or virtually. To be considered for the show, applicants must be based in Canada, and founders should either be residents of Canada or presently residing in the country.
