Oahu Films and Holomua Productions are searching for the perfect host to lead their exciting new Hawaii travel show. If you’re a man or woman aged 25 to 50 with a sharp sense of humor and a knack for adventure, this could be your moment. This show is seeking individuals who not only embrace adventure but also possess a deep understanding of local culture.
Casting Notice:
Aloha everyone! We’re going to take a big swing for the fences and we need your help. We will be producing a “pilot episode” about Hawaii’s unique culture, food and natural beauty with the hopes of getting picked up by a national streaming platform like Hulu, Prime Video, Peacock, etc. We do not have a title for the show yet.
We are looking for a fresh face to be the host of our show. So if you are a male or female between 25-50 years of age, with a quick and witty sense of humor, adventurous and willing and able to try new foods and activities, have an understanding of our local culture and language as well as a deep respect for our home, you might be who we’re looking for. No experience necessary. We prefer a resident of Oahu as most filming will take place here. We will not offer travel expenses for neighbor island applicants.

We will do a follow up, in person meeting, with selected applicants within the next couple weeks. If selected as our host, you will be paid for a two day filming session to produce this pilot. You must be available to film in April or May on Oahu. lf we are picked up by a streaming platform, you will be offered a contract to be the on screen host of our show.
