NBC has greenlit a drama pilot created by Jenna Bans and Bill Krebs. The upcoming series pilot is titled “Grosse Pointe Garden Society,” the show explores the intriguing lives of four members of a suburban garden club, each hailing from diverse backgrounds. Their seemingly ordinary existence takes a thrilling turn when they find themselves entangled in a web of murder and mischief, all while striving to nurture their conventional lives into full bloom.
Jenna Bans , producer and writer, known for Desperate Housewives (2004), Grey’s Anatomy) and Bill Krebs lead the project as writers and executive producers, backed by Bans’ Minnesota Logging Company and co-executive producer Casey Kyber. The pilot is produced by Universal Television. Initially conceived in 2022, “Grosse Pointe Garden Society” transitioned from development to a full-fledged series with NBC opening a writers’ room for the show in 2023.
