Based on the music of Queen, We Will Rock You is set 300 years in the future. A handful of rock rebels, the Bohemians, fight for freedom, individuality and the rebirth of the age of rock. Two young outsiders, Scaramouche and Galileo, cannot come to terms with the bleak conformist reality. They join the Bohemians and embark on the search to find the unlimited power of freedom, love and rock! The songs of Queen with a book by Ben Elton including We Are The Champions, Killer Queen, Don’t Stop Me Now,Bohemian Rhapsody, Another One Bites The Dust, of course, We Will Rock You & many more!
WHAT TO PREPARE:
A cut of a song from the musical or in the style of Queen/We Will Rock You that showcases your voice
Auditions will be accompanied; please provide your own sheet music
A printed copy of your resume
A printed headshot or recent photo
CALLBACKS ARE BY INVITE ONLY ON MARCH 10th
If you are invited for a callback, please come prepared for a dance call (movement clothes, dance shoes) and for side reading. Not all cast members will be called back; not everyone called back will be cast. Further details will be included in callback communications.
PLEASE NOTE: These are unpaid community theatre productions.
