Yes, we know it’s a bit early, but seems Busch Gardens / SeaWorld likes to get an early start on future acting needs. However, you can certainly expect more casting notices to follow all through the summer as they try to recruit all the local actors they need to fill the positions in the fall.

Seaworld is part of Busch Parks, who also hire actors to fill acting jobs in various park locations nationwide for folks who would like to be paid for their acting skills and to create unforgettable scares and entertain SeaWorld patrons. Plus, it is an acting job, so you also get paid to scare those park visitors.
Howl-O-Scream is an immersive Halloween event held at SeaWorld, where the park transforms into a realm of fear and fright. Guests are plunged into a world of terror as they navigate haunted houses, scare zones, and thrilling attractions, encountering terrifying creatures and spine-chilling surprises at every turn. With elaborately themed environments, captivating live entertainment, and, of course the scare actors that try to get that scream out as you walk around the park.
What You Get to Do:
- Deliver energetic guest interaction and atmospheric entertainment by embodying an authentic character that engages with guests.
- Perform regularly in assigned areas according to the set and/or show schedule.
- Develop your skills and knowledge to maintain excellent show quality and appearance.
- Follow through on show notes to ensure progress in specific areas.
- Maintain personal appearance by meeting costume and makeup requirements.
- Assist in general cleaning of specified areas.
- Support daily operational aspects of assigned shows, including timely reporting of prop and costume repairs.
- Provide solution-based ideas to solve problems.
- Support the team’s daily activities and execute backstage tasks as outlined in the daily schedule.
- Ensure adherence to safety and procedural directions related to this position.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
