Spotlight on the Midwest & South
This year’s first round puts a major focus on the South and Midwest, with states like Texas, Kansas, Nebraska, and Oklahoma expected to bring a wide range of voices and styles.
How to Audition
Aspiring contestants are encouraged to register online ahead of their state’s audition date. Slots may be limited, so securing a spot early is key. Contestants should prepare two songs that showcase both vocal range and individuality, with acapella and backing track options available depending on the audition format.
Registration is easy. Contestants sign up through the show’s website or mobile app, choose a virtual audition date, and then perform in a live audition, online on Zoom.
