Kids & Adults Wanted for Season 2 of BET+ Series Diarra From Detroit
Hylton Casting is now casting Black / African American children ages 9 to 16 to appear in fun, family-style scenes for the upcoming second season of the BET+ hit series Diarra From Detroit. Filming will take place in Atlanta, GA from August 11–14, 2025.
The show, which first premiered to strong reviews, follows the life of Diarra, a bold and no-nonsense school teacher turned amateur detective navigating life, love, and her unexpected role in a mysterious case in her hometown of Detroit. Mixing drama, comedy, and real-world stakes, Diarra From Detroit has quickly become a standout on BET+.
For Season 2, production is filming vibrant family cookout scenes that feature energetic outdoor summer fun. Casting is specifically seeking outgoing kids comfortable with lively activities like running through sprinklers, playing outside, and enjoying the authentic vibe of a family barbecue.
All roles will be hand-selected by the director, offering young performers a chance to be featured on a high-profile series.
