Paid Classroom Movie Extras – Children Ages 9+
A film production shooting in Hyde Park, NY (ZIP 12538) is now casting diverse children ages 9 and up to appear as background extras in a school classroom setting. This is a paid opportunity open to both SAG-AFTRA and non-union talent. All children must be local to the Hyde Park area and legally finished with their 2024–2025 school year before June 20, 2025.

Casting directors Amy Hutchings and Heidi Eklund are looking for a wide range of kids to authentically represent a real classroom environment. Submissions from children of color and racially ambiguous performers are strongly encouraged. The team welcomes kids of all backgrounds, genders, and abilities.
