Seeking casting for our upcoming short film “Silent Scars,” a psychological drama about love, trauma, and self-worth.
The story follows Silent Scars, a psychological drama that follows Kendall, a bright but deeply insecure college student who finds herself in her first real relationship with Trey, a charming young man who gives her the attention and affection she has longed for. Afraid to lose the love she’s finally found, Kendall ignores the subtle shifts in Trey’s behavior as his unresolved childhood trauma begins to surface. What starts as warmth and safety slowly turns into manipulation and, eventually, moments of frightening violence. Torn between the love she once believed in and fear, Kendall struggles to find her voice in a relationship and an environment where she feels small and unseen.
Location: Kennesaw, GA
Non-Union – Filming Dates: Mid-July (Tentative)
This film explores themes of emotional and domestic abuse (handled with care and purpose).

ROLES:
- TREY (LEAD)
Male, White or Multiracial, 18-25
– Charming, attentive, and charismatic on the surface, but deeply controlling and emotionally volatile underneath. Trey uses affection, guilt, and manipulation to maintain power in his relationship with Kendall. He is shaped by childhood trauma, having witnessed abuse growing up, and struggles with unresolved anger and fear of abandonment. (Actor must balance charm and menace. This role requires emotional depth, not a one-dimensional villain) - MIKE (SUPPORTING)
Male, White, 18-25
– Energetic, goofy, and lighthearted. Mike brings comic relief but is also kind-hearted and observant beneath the surface. He genuinely cares about Kendall and subtly harbors a quiet crush on her. - MANDY (SUPPORTING)
Female, White, 18-25
– A sharp-tongued, judgmental member of Kendall’s friend group who masks insecurity with mean-spirited humor. Often targets others to elevate herself. She is the outgoing, socially dominant queen bee who thrives on attention. - STELLA (SUPPORTING)
Female, White, 18-25
– Mandy’s partner-in-crime. Equally judgmental and immature, often encouraging negative behavior within the group. She is a devoted follower of Mandy, mirroring her behavior and opinions to stay relevant and liked. Insecure beneath her confidence, Stella constantly measures her worth by attention and popularity.
