Movie filming this winter seeks actors in the DFW area that fit the character descriptions listed below.
Casting call is for actors who are available west of Fort Worth, Texas, in December 2026.
Fort Worth Actor Auditions
- Actors who fit the character specifications
- Are available for filming in early to mid-December.
- Selected talent will be contacted with self-tape audition instructions.
- The pay rate is $225 per day, plus a 10% agency fee when applicable.
Travel is not provided, so the production is only considering talent who can work locally in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

Character Descriptions:
- MELCHIOR : MAN 40s-60s. Any ethnicity. ONE OF THE GREAT MAGI FROM THE EAST, WHOM WAS KNOWN FOR HIS GREAT RICHES OF GOLD AND COMPASSIONATE WISDOM.
When we first meet him, he is dressed elegantly. He is authentically truly the one of the wiseman who visited Christ. Think of a Morpheous type from the matrix, he speaks with kindness and authority. (Works 3-4 DAYS AT CAPERNUM STUDIOS) - GASPAR: MAN 40s-60s. Any ethnicity. TALL, STONE FACED WITH EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE, KNOWN FOR DELICATE AND HEALING FRAGRANCES AND REMEDIES.
He’s a bit more reserved, not the leader of the three wisemen, but very aware of every word being spoken. He has several meaningful lines about the future and the truth. (Works 3-4 DAYS AT CAPERNUM STUDIOS) - BALTHASAR: MAN 40s-60s. Any ethnicity. MYSTERIOUS, WITH A DISTANT LOOK BUT KINDNESS IN HIS EYES.
He doesn’t speak when we first meet the three wisemen, and we’re not sure what to think of him. He reveals later that he’s had great dreams about the children’s arrival, and he prophesies over Matthew. (Works 3-4 DAYS AT CAPERNUM STUDIOS) - CASEY LOWRY: Woman 40s, PRETTY, YOUNG MOTHER. Any ethnicity.
She loves her family, her home, and she cares very much about respecting the “real meaning of Christmas.” (Works 2 DAYS) - JASON LOWRY: Man 40’S, FATHER TO THE FOUR CHILDREN, LOVING HUSBAND. Any ethnicity.
Jason works as a youth pastor for the local church in his city. He’s by the book, expects the best behavior out of his children but lacks the true appreciation for their creativity and individual interests. (Works 1-2 Days) - BARBARA: Woman 50s-70s. Any ethnicity. GIFT STORE OWNER. FRIENDLY, LOVES GOD, HER FAMILY, AND HER STORE.
When we first meet her she has her head buried in a large concordance bible and looks to be hanging on every word. Think of those classic book store owners from nostalgic films like “Never Ending Story” or “Peter Pan” or even “Gremlins” There’s something eccentric about Barbara, she knows more than most people and she’s aware of it. (Works 1 Day) - DETECTIVE MARTINEZ: Woman 30s-early 40s. Any ethnicity. VANESSA MARTINEZ, PRETTY BUT TOUGH, WITH A BY THE BOOK ATTITUDE.
Treating this whole story as a missing children’s case. Takes it seriously. (Works 1 Day) - OFFICER COOKE: Man mid 30s-mid 40s. Any ethnicity. OFFICER LESTER COOKE, CLEAN CUT, STERN BUT KIND.
