Fear Factor: House of Fear will be coming back for season 2 and currently has an online audition for contestants who would love a chance to win some cash…for facing their fears.
The Iconic show FEAR FACTOR is coming back with another season of the franchise. The new iteration of the show is called “Fear Factor: House of Fear.” The Fear Factor House of Fear show premiered on Fox earlier this year and is now looking towards the 2027 season.
Fear Factor became one of television’s most talked-about reality competition series when it debuted on NBC in 2001. Hosted by comedian and UFC commentator Joe Rogan for most of its original run, the show challenged contestants to face extreme stunts, physical challenges, and fear-inducing tasks for a chance to win cash prizes. The series became known for its outrageous challenges, ranging from high-altitude stunts to encounters with insects, snakes, and other creatures.
Fear Factor ran for six seasons before later returning in revival versions, including a reboot hosted by Ludacris on MTV. Building on the popularity of the original series, Fear Factor: The Next Chapter and the recent Fear Factor: House of Fear were added to the franchise.

Unlike the original Fear Factor, House of Fear takes place in a single location. The new variation of the reality competition places contestants inside a mysterious house. The challenges take place in that house where residents must face psychological games, intense challenges, and some reality show type twists and drama.
Be aware that this is a reality competition, and the signature fear-based challenges that made the original series a hit are still in the show.
