Netflix is searching for innovative kids to compete in a reality competition show.
A brand new competition series is searching nationwide for inventive kids who love to build, experiment, and solve problems.
A new Netflix show titled “Schooled!” is currently casting bright young minds between the ages of 9 and 17 to compete in an exciting STEM-focused competition set on the campus of CrunchLabs Academy, founded by popular science creator Mark Rober. The upcoming series will stream on Netflix and will challenge teams of young innovators to put their creativity, engineering skills, and problem-solving abilities to the test.
What abilities?
Below are a few examples and they are seeking kids who can create creative solutions for common kid stuff.
- Turn off the lights once they get into bed
- Feed their pet
- Protect their room from sibling intruders
- Make their breakfast
- Clean up their room
The competition is looking for curious kids who enjoy building things, experimenting with science, coding, robotics, and hands-on projects.
Casting directors are especially interested in creative thinkers and enthusiastic problem solvers who are excited about technology and engineering.
Participants will compete in teams of two, though kids may apply either individually or with a partner. Teams can include classmates, friends, siblings, members of the same STEM program, or other collaborators who enjoy working together on creative projects.
Parents or guardians must apply on behalf of their children, and parental consent and involvement are required for all participants.
Families who know a young builder, inventor, or future engineer are encouraged to apply through the CrunchLabs Academy casting website (see below).
