Synopsis:
“Torn Between Two Lovers” is a gospel play that tells the story of Summer Knight and the adversity and opposition she faces as she struggles to find true love.
We Are Casting For The Following Characters:
[SUMMER] [GENDER: FEMALE] [AGE: 20-29] [AFRICAN-AMERICAN]
Summer is a recently heart-broken young woman who feels that she’s not capable of love. She’s a little over weight, but confident.
[ERICA] [GENDER: FEMALE] [AGE: 20-29] [AFRICAN-AMERICAN]
Erica is funny, a bit crazy, a tad hood, but very loving and protective of her cousin Summer.
[TIM ] [GENDER: MALE] [AGE: 21-30] [AFRICAN-AMERICAN]
Tim is arrogant and thinks the world revolves around him. He has a soft spot, but doesn’t show it often.
[RICKY] [GENDER: MALE] [AGE: 21-30] [AFRICAN-AMERICAN]
Ricky is confident. He loves to work out. He’s tough, but also good natured.
[LOUANN] [GENDER: FEMALE] [AGE: 30-50] [AFRICAN-AMERICAN]
Louann is a mom. She’s very spiritual, truthful and loving.
We are also casting for smaller parts such as Narrator, Club MC and Extras
