As the flagship series that launched the Taylor Sheridan empire, “Yellowstone” may be coming to a close this year, but the prolific creator shows no signs of slowing down. In addition to expanding the “Yellowstone” universe with prequels, sequels, and spinoffs, Sheridan’s partnership with Paramount+ continues to yield a diverse array of standalone shows. Among these are the second season of “Tulsa King,” starring Sylvester Stallone, the Zoe Saldana-led spy thriller “Special Ops: Lioness,” and the new podcast-inspired series, “Landman.”

The new Paramount+ show, “Landman,” has the following IMDB description – A modern-day tale of fortune seeking in the world of West Texas oil rigs.
