Be a paid extra in Utah – Get a small paid role in Kevin Costner’s “Horizon 3.”
Kevin Costner is filming another western in Utah. The project is massive and the movie is structured as a series of multiple chapters, such as a trilogy. “Horizon: An American Saga,” is now filming Horizon 3 in Moab and St. George and the casting directors for the movie are seeking to hire locals to those areas to fill many background roles. Since this is a project spread over chapters, the first 2 have already filmed and will be released in theaters this summer.

Director Kevin Costner helms New Line Cinema’s epic “Horizon: An American Saga,” a sweeping tale that spans 15 years of pre- and post-Civil War expansion and settlement in the American West. This story is told over multiple chapters, explores the allure and challenges of the Old West, tracing its conquest through the struggles and triumphs of its diverse inhabitants. Costner, who also stars, co-writes, and produces alongside Jon Baird, brings to life a poignant narrative that delves into the essence of American identity. Featuring a stellar ensemble cast including Sienna Miller, Sam Worthington, Jena Malone, and many more. “Horizon: An American Saga” is a journey through a nation torn apart by conflict, yet united by its quest for freedom and prosperity. Distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures, the first chapter hits theaters on June 28, 2024, followed by the second on August 16, 2024.

EXPERIENCE: No prior experience necessary. If you’ve previously worked on Horizon 1 or 2, please specify your role.
SPECIAL ABILITIES: Safety is paramount. Please disclose any relevant skills such as horseback riding, blacksmithing, or working with livestock.

RATE: General extras rate: $150/12 with OT after 12 hours. Special ability rates TBD.

- Availability for Moab and/or St. George (local hire)
- Any scheduling restrictions between May-late August
- SAG-Aftra membership status
- Previous roles in Horizon 1 or 2, if applicable
