Project Description: Kindred is a short film that delivers a powerful message about human trafficking through a non-verbal father and his daughter. The father’s journey is a critical element of this narrative, delving into themes of love, resilience, and the unspoken bond that transcends words.
Role Description: We are seeking a white / European descendant male actor, aged in his late 40s, who is non-verbal, to play the father’s role. The actor should be fluent in American Sign Language (ASL) and capable of conveying a wide range of emotions through facial expressions and body language.
Requirements:
White / European descendant male in late 40 years of age
Non-verbal
Proficient in American Sign Language
Able to express complex emotions nonverbally
Able to join the project for filming in NY and NJ
Filming Location: New York / New Jersey
Filming Dates: Last week of May
Compensation: Negotiable.
