Television Pilot (Comedy)

Situational comedy based in a local pub. If you like the style of humor in Eastbound and Down, Always Sunny in Philly, The League, Phoenix Nights (UK) etc. you might be interested in this project.
This is a half day shoot and will be a very fun shoot.
We are looking for people who can take direction, improvise and want to do 5-10 takes to get comfortable and experiment while shooting.
The casting process will be informal and on location. Please ask if you have questions.
Role Descriptions are as follows.
Eddie
5’7-6 ft, 55-90 year old, white hair and beard, ex ship captain who is well spoken, polite, and enjoys a drink of whiskey from time to time. He is of average proportions for his age and size. He is the last of his friends to go and still with it most of the time. But he does reminisce about the old times on his ship too often to anyone that will listen and occasionally stares off into space. He’s somewhat lonely but has made a good friend in co-star Vernon where the two of them spend their days at the bar chatting about not much and waiting for time to pass them by. He can be chipper and does enjoy having a chuckle at witty remarks. He has a younger g/f around 45 years old. He is neat and tidy and acceptably groomed.
Vernon
40-60, male, chunky to fat, preferably balding or bald with a beer belly, a slob, mechanic and likely an alcoholic. Vernon lives for a drink and spends his entire life outside of his mechanic shop at the pub. He comes in for mid morning pints, lunch pints, and dinner pints. He used to have it together as an exceptional athlete and even started his own business (the mechanic shop) but is a case of someone who burned out early. Maybe life was too easy or boring for him. He wears the same overalls each day, farts and burps, is a bit of a pervert, and is unpredictably involved in the conversation when not asleep on the bar. He is single and owns a dog. He makes between 30-50k per year.
Eric
25-35, male, a career undergraduate student who is in the final semester of university. He doesn’t have much direction in life nor confidence with girls. He is a bit naive and comes from a supportive and isolating upper middle class family who has made his life a bit too comfortable. He is currently on a long streak without the touch of a women because he doesn’t have the courage to approach any and backs down too easily. Hes a nice guy and likes to have a drink with his friends at the bar. He has good morals but can be persuaded to do things he normally wouldn’t do. He is good natured and likes to have a laugh.
