ABC TV Pilot “Runner” Casting Call in Chicago

A new television show pilot is beginning production this week in Chicago and seeking lots of paid extras.

Chicago’s 4 Star Casting is now accepting submissions from Chicago locals to work on a new ABC show called “Runner“, a story about illegal gun trafficking, through the eyes of a woman named Lauren Marks. The show will be filming an airport scene shortly that will require many extras.

4 Star Casting is primarily looking for people to work the airport (this is our biggest day of filming), and as pedestrians and/or pedestrians with cars.

According to a report for the entertainment news site, Deadline, Runner, is being produced for 20th Century Television to possibly be picked up by ABC. The show will dive into the world of  illegal arms dealing through the eyes of woman. The show is written by Michael Cooney (Identity) and is based on the Turkish show called “Son”. The lead character in “Runner” is Lauren Marks. Lauren’s life gets which was seemingly perfect gets torn apart by a simple twist of fate. That twist takes Lauren on a path that leads her into the underground world of cartels and the illegal gun trade. A path she must follow if she ever wants to uncover the truth.

Talent interested in being considered for small roles in “Runner” can apply by submitting your photos and information through this form.

ROLE: Architecture Employees
Male and Female, all ethnicity, ages 25-50, trendy, modern, fun, funky business looks, think of a High End Hipster or Silverlake, Ca look. Guys with cool haircuts and facial hair, women with modern looks. (Look it up online if you don’t know the trends and styles in that area.)

3) Send photos in jpeg format and make sure to put your name in the submission. The photos are very important! The director will be selecting them. You need to send in clear photos, with good lighting that show your look. We need to see your face.
4) Confirm that you are available for the shoot date.
