An indie film company seeks reliable experienced cast for short film to be entered in film festivals such as Sundance. Shooting approximately May-June 2016.
The story is about a mail order bride that is promised one thing and gets another. She seeks vengeance when she does not get what is owed her.
Seeking the roles:
Vivian 1 — white male 20’s, Samuel Jackson type hood accent. Male part playing an Asian woman but dressed as white male with a few female accents such as lipstick or veil. Character is smart, cunning, and with a twist of humor and a mail ordered bride.
Vivian 2 — Asian woman 20’s, with accent. Character is smart, cunning, and with a twist of humor and a mail ordered bride.
Johnson — White male 40’s beer belly, slightly balding. Character is a nice guy who is happy with his life as an insurance salesman, but can’t seem to get a wife, so he looks for a mail ordered bride.
Momma — typical Asian mother in her 50’s. Heavy Asian accent. Character is aged & worn by working in a factory. She is kind and loving of her daughter Vivian.

30’s something male to play Husband.
30’s something female to play wife.
10 each funeral mourners.
Preacher with a collar. Needs a preacher voice.
