CHARACTERS:
AARON TIMBLE: Any ethnicity, male, 65+ to play cranky homebody. Aaron is a retired widower who finds comfort in the daily paper and loyal routine. Quick to anger, unappreciative of kids, and most importantly: fear of death.
EMMA ENORD: Any ethnicity, female, 35-45 to play eccentric cemetery plot saleswoman. Who is she? Why does she travel door-to-door giving away cemetery plots? Quirky, bubbly, good-natured, and the moment she does not get her way? She might send the dead to come yank you into your own grave. But hey, she’s smiling.
FOURTH-GRADERS: (NEED 3): Any ethnicity, males, 10-13, to play “those dam* neighbor kids” always sneaking onto my property!” Experts at tossing a football.
