An original play that depicts days leading up to the deployment of Lt. Alexandra Sparrow; as she contemplates who will act as guardian to her four-year-old son. A pulsation of scenes challenging race, parenthood and the dynamics of family, 12.21.09’s suspenseful first act was conceived to facilitate difficult conversation. This is an experimental production of the first act that will be live streamed for audiences across the U.S; the production is meant to be hyper interactive encouraging dialogue between company and audience. – Stipend
