R&B MALE & FEMALE AUDITION – NYC SHOW BAND

We are casting for Male & Female R&B singers who dance, for a large Society band that performs at high end/upscale events and weddings in the NYC area. I say “Society Band” but this is essentially a high end cover band that offers top level musical and vocal performances while doing front line choreography. Picture an elegant yet fierce dance party band that would perform at a Grammy’s after party.
Much of the music is Top 40 (Beyonce, Rihanna, Bruno Mars, etc. and vocalists should be able to rock that style of singing as well as be comfortable dancing and sharing positive energy with the crowds we perform for like a rock star. Vocalists will sing lead on multiple songs and sing background harmonies with the other vocalists on their songs. Music training, playing an instrument, or understanding of harmonies is a plus. No Broadway vibrato please – looking for true R&B vocalists.
This is an ongoing paid position and we perform weekly.
