Orchestra Auditions for Strings & Winds
The newly named Arizona Pro Arte Ensemble, formerly Scottsdale Baroque Orchestra, announces auditions for all string and wind positions for its collaborative, creative, flexible ensemble that is embarking on its new direction starting in the fall of 2012.

Arizona Pro Arte Ensemble offers audiences an opportunity to explore music through an unusual mix of the arts. By creating collaborations between performing arts and visual arts, Arizona Pro Arte Ensemble shatters common expectations. It leads audiences through explorations of synergies between music, dance, theater, film and visual arts that will kindle the kind of meaningful experiences that only the arts can inspire.

About Arizona Pro Arte Ensemble:
• Timothy Verville is the Artistic Director and Conductor. He holds a Doctor of Musical Arts in Orchestral Conducting from Arizona State University and is Music Director of North Valley Chamber Orchestra, Music Director of Arizona’s Fine Arts String Orchestra and Associate Conductor of the Boston Chamber Orchestra.
• Musicians will be paid using a revenue sharing model. Musicians will split revenue earned at 4 concerts. Two concerts played will be donated (unpaid) in order to be able to rehearse and perform in the space for no out-of-pocket cost.
• Rehearsals will be Wednesdays, 7:00PM – 9:15PM at Paradise Valley United Methodist Church, 4455 E. Lincoln Drive, Paradise Valley, AZ 85253.

Auditions for high-level musicians will be held July 25th (winds) and 28th (strings) at Paradise Valley United Methodist Church.
