We will be casting for the short film, Aurora, a Howard University graduate thesis project. (5-7 mins)to theaurorafilm@gmail.com and you will be provided with your audition time and the location. Please include your name in the subject line.
AUDITIONS

Available Roles:
This film centers on a late-20s, African American, female lead, Aurora, who during the course of her pregnancy is mysteriously confronted by glimpses into nature and her own untapped feminine power which cause her to question her modern, contemporary existence and relationships.
We will also be casting for several extras:
- Aurora’s husband, Christopher (late 20s, African American)
- Her mother, Janet (age 45-55, African American)
- Her work supervisor (age 30-40)
- A mother and teen daughter
- A pedestrian
- Train passengers
- Office workers
The project will involve digital environments and use of green screen photography. Filming will occur in late February. You will be asked to provide your availability between February 15-March 1 for scheduling purposes.
The roles are unpaid, however you will receive onscreen credit, a copy of the film for your reel and on-set meals.
