Batman Vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice” is moving right along with production in Michigan

A new casting call has just been released for the Michigan area. The film is seeking talent that would like to appear in the Superman sequel as a background actor / extras. The film commission just released a new casting notice on the film and they are looking for all types in the Lansing area. ‘Superman V. Batman‘ had been reported to be using thousands of background extras in the production and had an open casting call that drew thousands of hopefuls a few months back, during the spring, seems they now need more. Michigan area Superman fans now have a chance, once again, to get in on the act.

‘Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice‘ is the follow up film to ‘Man of Steel‘, the last Superman film which made an astounding $660 million+ worldwide. ‘Superman Man of Steal‘ director Zack Snyder will be back again helming the new production. Chris Terrio (Argo) is the screenwriter on the project. Earlier this year, Warner Bros. announced that David Goyer had been replaced. David Goyer headed up the writing on ‘Man of Steal‘.

Batman V. Superman now filming in Michigan

The new Superman sequel will  boast an all star cast. Returning as Superman / Clark Kent is Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck takes on the role of Batman, Jason Momoa will be introduced as Aquaman, Gal Gadot has the role of Wonder Woman AKA Diana Prince, Amy Adams plays Lois Lane, Diane Lane is Martha Kent, Jesse Eisenberg will play Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons has been cast as Alfred. The film will also star Scoot McNairy, Holly Hunter, Callan Mulvey and Laurence Fishburne rounds out the cast as Perry White.

The movie is being produced in Michigan and casting directors are only looking for extras that are within a reasonable driving distance of the Lansing area. The scenes they are needing talent for will be night time shoots on the 16th and 17th of next month. Currently, they are only seeking background actors that are at least 18 years of age. -Filming will be all night on 10/16/14 and 10/17/14
-Filming in Lansing
-Extras are paid $65.20/8 and overtime after 8 hrs.
-Catered meal provided
-Hiring extras 18 years of age and older
-Must be a legal to work in US
