SAG short horror film “Monster” is looking for an actor to fill the lead role

A SAG-AFTRA SHORT FILM being directed by Luke Jaden (Madman or Martyr, JUVIES)
[MONSTER]
Any ethnicity, any age, Male or Female. They can be tall, normal, or dwarf sized. Looking for an uncommon face to play the part of MONSTER. Quiet and withdrawn but with an expressive face and deeply active internal life. Almost reminiscent of a silent film character. Because of the lack of lines for this character, there should be an imaginative quality as if he lives in a make-believe world he created. A character who is very skinny or lean is better. Think for this character in the style of a Heath Ledger/Paul Dano/Michael Shannon type. Must have some serious chops, since this role is packed with ALL emotions and improvisation. Burns, scars, birthmarks, strange, scary, weird faces, etc… is a plus.
This role will shoot 2-3 days in Detroit on May 16th-18th. There will be some prosthetics applied and wardrobe fittings before the actual shoot.
