Indie filmmakers in Michigan are seeking to cast 1 female lead and 2 males for a horror short. This is a non-union gig.
East Lansing Horror Short Now Casting
The film is a 10-minute horror short and is in need of THREE ACTORS! This film is just one part of seven in a horror compilation. The combined compilation (all created by several Michigan filmmakers) will then be entered into film festivals. This means great exposure for everybody involved!
Two frat brothers are having a good time at an East Lansing bar until they meet the beautiful and sadistic Luka. Their ‘good’ night turns into a night of horror!
We are seeking NON-UNION actors.
This production is very low-budget! Actors will be PAID for their travels, which will more than likely be a two-day shoot [on a weekend]. It isn’t much to be paid at all, but it is something. You will also be provided food, a copy of the film, and a poster.
Here are the roles that need to be cast.
LUKA:
Female LEAD
Looks around 24-29 years of age
Attractive, athletic-build Caucasian to slightly more exotic-looking
She’s mysterious, cunning, intimidating, and sadistic
ANDY:
Looks around 18-23 years of age
Attractive, athletic-build (looks like a college jock)
Have a good sense of humor with this character
Be able to scream well
JON:
Looks around 18-23 years of age
Attractive, normal to athletic-build (looks like a frat boy)
Have a good sense of humor with this character
The audience should be able to sympathize for this character
