OPENING CASTING CALL….This play takes place at “The Solomon Mansion” Peter Solomon Sr. Great granddad start a moving company in 1985 with $20. From there he save his money and bought his first rental property. A place where people can rest and be of comfort a Hotel call “Solomon Inn”. After Peter Sr. died his son Peter Jr. took over the family business and elevated it into a multi billion dollar enterprise around the world ” The Solomon Plaza”.
Peter Jr. very smart in education, knowledge, money and power but lack in one area of his life “Everybody Know” his Hidden Secret… written, produce, director by Cathy Howard, co directors and producers Steven Drayton “brother of Flava Fla” and L. T. Perry
Character Breakdown:
Peter Jr. – male/ 40-50 yrs./ African-American, any size. Rich CEO, serious demeanor
Jo Ann – female/35-45 yrs./ African American, any size. Peter’s wife, she is a stay at home wife, unfaithful to her husband, and seductive
Kyle – male /30’s/ African American, any size. Peter’s brother, he is a wild party animal. No regard for others.
Lillie May- female/ 65-75 yrs/African American, any size. Peter’s mom, wheel-chaired bound and unable to hear conversations.
Charice- female/20’s/African American, any size. Peter’s daughter, secretly dropped out of college and have no direction for her life.
Earl Lee – male/look like 80’s/ African-American, any size. Peter’s nasty uncle, filthy mouth.
Cassie Cornwell – female/30-35 yrs./African-American, slender built. Lilly’s nurse
Jerome Butler – male/35-45 yrs./African-American, muscular built. Pool guy
