“90 Minutes in Heaven” will be beginning production in Atlanta next month and looking to cast some paid movie extras.
The Christian retail chain, Family Christian Stores, is backing the faith based film about a pastor who after being pronounced dead, wakes up with memories of heaven.
Rick Jackson’s company will be funding the project that is based on the best selling novel by Don Piper about the pastors life and death experience. Don Piper’s book sold millions of copies and the movie is right around the corner since IMDB reports the film will be released in 2015.
In 1989, Don Piper was driving back from a conference when he collided with a big rig truck that crossed into his lane. The minister was pronounced dead at the scene and covered with a tarp. Another passing minister saw the accident and came to pray. The badly hurt pastor awoke to face his very severe injuries which included a severed arm and crushed leg. The pastor claimed that during the 90 minutes he was out and presumed dead, he had a vision of heaven and felt like he got pulled back to Earth.
According to a Deadline report, Michael Polish is writing the script as well as directing the movie. “90 Minutes in Heaven” stars Hayden Christensen and Kate Bosworth.
Extras casting directors at CL are seeking background talent that has real medical experience such as doctors, nurses, emt’s as well as people who have older model cars (89′ or earlier)
We will be shooting a new feature film over the next month.
