Casting Call for “Allegiant” Faction Members in ATL

Divergent Movie Series casting call for “Allegiant” Part 2

“Allegiant” is now filming in the Atlanta area and has released a new call for background actors to play faction members.

In Veronica Roth’s Divergent series, Beatrice Prior’s society is divided into five factions, each of which is dedicated to a particular virtue or skill set.  The factions are Abnegation, Erudite, Dauntless, Amity, and Candor.  The movie’s casting directors are now casting paid extras to portray members of those factions. All roles are in the Atlanta area with an age range of 18 to 60s. “Allegiant” has a need for various looks which include brainy types, hippy types, rebels and fighter types. The movie’s extras casting director at CL have just released another call for extras. Casting a variety of looks in the Atlanta area including thin individuals with messy / unruly hair, extra large (shirt size that is) men, men with a scruffy look, ladies with lots of muscle who look like they work out, and some experienced boxers.

The “Divergent” series continues with “Allegiant”  which will be split into 2 parts. “Allegiant Part 1”  will hit movie theaters in March of 2016 and “Allegiant Part 2”  will follow in 2017. The Divergent film series follows the story of Beatrice “Tris” and her struggle to live in a post apocalyptic world controlled by a tyrannical government which split society into factions.  The young adult sci-fi trilogy is based on the “Divergent” book series by Veronica Roth.

Shailene Woodley reprises her character, Tris.  The Lionsgate  project will also be starring Theo James ( Four), Naomi Watts (Evelyn)  and  Ansel Elgort will play Caleb Prior.  In “Allegiant”  Beatrice Prior and Tobias Eaton venture into the world outside of the fence and are taken into protective custody by a mysterious agency known as the Bureau of Genetic Welfare.
