Seems there is a speaking role for a rapper up for grabs on “Empire”
“Empire’s” casting directors have a search out for an 18 year old rapper in Chicago as well as 2 actresses to play a younger Tasha Smith and Vivica A. Fox.
The show is looking to cast the role of “Ezzy” who is described as an African American teen ( Actor must be 18+ but plays 16) who is book smart and hoping to get signed by Lucious Lyon and his company Empire Entertainment.
“Empire” just began production of season 3. The show is filming season 3 in the Chicago, IL area and is only interested in talent that is local to the Chicago area as no travel expenses are paid and talent / rapper cast wuill be working on the show between the 19th and 28th of July. “Empire” season 3 will film all the way through March of 2017.
The show is described as a sexy and powerful drama. The series focuses on the hip hop music industry and the fictional company called Empire Entertainment. focuses on Empire At the helm of Empire Entertainment is Lucious Lyon (Terrence Howard), a self made music mogul who has always kept a tight grip on his company but gets some bad news that threatens his control. “Empire” also stars , Taraji P. Henson and Gabourey Sidibe.

TEENAGE CANDACE: 18 to play a YOUNG VIVICA A. FOX. MUST Resemble Vivica A. Fox. She is Candace seen in a flashback.
