Kentucky Opera Children’s Auditions

Kentucky Opera is currently seeking child actors/actresses of all ethnicities to play the role of Trouble in Madame Butterfly. Must be able to play a small 3 year old child but does not need to be of age to audition. Some performing experience preferred, but not necessary.
The role is paid and rehearsals begin August 30th. Performances are Friday, September 23rd and Sunday, September 25th at the Brown Theatre.
Auditions will be Friday, August 5th from 10AM-3PM at the Brown Rehearsal Hall on the 2nd Floor of the ArtSpace Building at 323 W Broadway, Louisville, KY, 40202
Nothing needs to be prepared—simply show up with a smile. This is an open call–no appointments will be scheduled.
