Models needed for the visually spectacular “Living Art” exhibit in the OC
The south Orange County annual event is preparing for the 2023 living art exhibit and will be holding open casting calls for models who would love to be incredibly made up to become a part of the art. The living pictures exhibit is a part of the Laguna Beach Festival of the Arts and is held in Orange County. The spectacular event is looking for volunteer models of all types and ages. No modeling experience is required. Additionally, the event is looking for non-model volunteers. Volunteers are also needed for positions in the wardrobe, make up, and headdress departments.
The incredible show is seeking models of all ages that are able to sit or stand still in full makeup and costume for 90 seconds or more. The yearly art event uses human models to create life sized reproductions of works from the great masters. Every year thousands apply to model in this show. The “Pageant of the Masters” living pictures exhibit showcases incredibly faithful art re-creations of classical and contemporary works. The models are made up to look just like the characters in the art. If you have a passion for art and would love to be put right into that art… here’s your chance.

The 2023 Pageant of the Masters sets out in search of stories of compelling collaborations that led to the creation of unforgettable artworks in this summer’s presentation of “Partners.”
Filled with provocative and passionate tales of some of art’s dynamic duos – artists and patrons, models, muses, even dance partners! Be sure to bring someone special with you, as “Partners” pulls back the curtain to reveal the significant others without whom the creation of great masterpieces might not have been possible. Sometimes, two is the magic number!

In addition to needing volunteers to pose in the Pageant, volunteers are needed for positions in the wardrobe, make up, and headdress departments, as well as cast area coordinators and refreshment servers, among other positions.
2023 OPEN CASTING CALL for models
Laguna Beach’s Festival of Arts and Pageant of the Masters, the world’s most famous presentation of living pictures, is looking for men, women, and children of all sizes and ages to volunteer for next summer’s show.
Each position is for a volunteer casting the Pageant of the Masters in Laguna Beach.
The Pageant of the Masters Open Casting Call will be held outside on the Festival of Arts grounds.
650 Laguna Canyon Road, Laguna Beach, CA.
Pageant of the Masters open casting call will be held backstage at the Pageant of the Masters on the Festival of Arts grounds at 650 Laguna Canyon Road.
Jan. 6 and 7 from 7 to 9 p.m., and Jan. 8 from 2 to 5 p.m.
The 2023 Pageant of the Masters open casting call is Jan. 6 to 8 and individuals of all sizes and ages are needed. The Pageant of the Masters is celebrating its 90th anniversary next summer with the production, Art Colony: In the Company of Artists, with shows nightly from July 7 to Sept. 1.
