CASTING CALL – Pixie Sticks

“Pixie Sticks” is a drama about a budding childhood puppy love between two best friends, Maddie and Lila, who are torn apart by bullies and Maddie’s desire for peer acceptance.
Shooting begins March 11 and ends March 13.
Available Roles*:
MADDIE: Just entering 5th grade, wants to be one of the cool kids and will sacrifice almost anything, even her best friend, Lila, to get there.
LILA: A self-assured 5th grader, who has been developing some unexplained feelings towards Maddie, but thinks Maddie feels them too.
JESSICA: 5th grader, who wants to be a professional dancer when she grows up. Is the ‘ring leader’ of the dancer crew.
JENNA: 5th grade girl, also loves dancing. Has been close friends with Jessica since 3rd grade.
JAMIE: 5th grader, takes dance classes after school with Jessica and Jamie. Is more of a follower than a leader.
*NOTE: Actors of diverse backgrounds are encouraged to apply!
Compensation:
