Lula & Miguel is a short film about a young couple, trapped in a long distance relationship, who fight to keep their love alive after one final goodbye.
Roles:
Lula: Female, 18-30 Beautiful, yet modest in appearance. Lula is a young woman passionately in love with her boyfriend of two years Miguel.
Role requirements: Role requires fluent English/German.
Ethnicity: Open to all who are interested. Should be comfortable with speaking English.
Audition requirements: Professional headshot/Photo/ Film reel
Miguel: Male, 18-30 Handsome, fearless, and confident. Miguel is madly in love with Lula his girlfriend of two years, but he’s confused on what he wants in life.
Role Requirements: Fluent English/German, any third language would be a PLUS!
Ethnicity: Latino/Hispanic/Portuguese

Lula’s Father: Male, 45-50
Role Requirements: Fluent German.

Audition Info:
Hello everyone, thank you for your interest in our Film “Lula & Miguel.” Audition’s take place during two rounds. The first round will be strictly video submissions only. The Second Round will be call back auditions.
Round One Audition: Date – November 08, 2017 – December 01, 2017
Once we receive your Headshot or resume through email; our team will email you a designated passage of the script for your video audition, in which you must creatively interpret the screenplay passage. ALL interested candidates must first submit a video audition, before they may proceed to the second round.
In the beginning of your video please slate/say your name, and where you are from.
Please note the dates for when round one begins and ends. After December 01, 2017, Round One will be closed. No more submissions will be accepted. You may email your video submission directly to Darcelienj@gmail.com and

Note: Video submissions may be done and used through private links from Vimeo, Youtube or other video sharing platforms.
Round Two: Audition: Date: TBD (To be determined) Location: Bochum
After Round One submissions, our team will draw up a short list of candidates we would like to see again. Once the list is in order, we will send out Second Round invitations through email. Dates, Location, and time will all be included on the invitations.
Compensation:
This isn’t a paid gig, but the opportunity is great for experience to put on a resume, and networking. Meals and navigation to film locations will be provided to cast members.
