VOZOLO DANCE COMPANY is holding auditions for dancers and specialty acts for upcoming projects, shows and performances. The auditions will be held Sunday March 5, 2017 2pm-4pm at Zemskov Dance Academy, 7835 S. Rainbow Blvd, #6, Las Vegas, NV 89139.
West African dance experience a plus but not mandatory.
All dance styles and acts will be considered.
All dancers and acts should be prepared to present a 2-3 minute piece/act.
Auditions will be facilitated by Atito Gohi, Master Dancer, Instructor, Choreographer and Vozolo Dance Company Founder from Ivory Coast, West Africa. Towards the latter part of the audition session, Atito will teach group choreography to the dancers to live drumming for further assessment.
All auditions will be filmed for additional review and consideration.

ABOUT VOZOLO DANCE COMPANY
?Vozolo Dance Company is a Las Vegas-based professional troupe founded by Master Dancer and Choreographer, Atito Gohi. The Company is co-directed by Atito Gohi and Master Drummer, Eric Bli Bi Gore, both originally from Ivory Coast, West Africa. Atito and Eric each have over 25 years of professional drum, dance, performance and theatrical production experience in venues spanning across the globe.
Vozolo’s mission is to share the diverse traditional dances, rhythms, spirituality and culture primarily of Cote D’Ivoire, West Africa. Atito and Eric are both from the Gouro ethnic group of Ivory Coast and in their language, “Vozolo” means “we are going to make it one day” or simply put, “we keep it moving”. It is the Company’s hope to immerse audiences in the beauty and healing nature of African traditions and to provide an experience where everyone can share the love of West African music, dance and culture. Vozolo desires to teach, inspire and bridge the gap between Africans and the rest of the world with compassion and understanding. We hope to provide an experience where the world can share the love for music and dance, as we share our love with the world.
