Alberta Dance Theatre provides an outstanding and unique program where dancers engaging in a professional creative process under the mentorship of professional artists. This process culminates in a show supported by original music, professional lighting design, and original props, costumes and set. ADT attracts dancers from several studios around the city of Calgary who come together for the show, while continuing to train at their respective studios.
Alberta Dance Theatre’s season is 12 weeks long, beginning in September and ending with our show early December. In our 38th season, we are the only dance company in Canada offering this opportunity to young dancers.
