Synopsis:
Mitchell O’Conner, a young, “loose-cannon” detective, is transferred from Vice to Cyber Crimes as punishment for being too reckless in the field. His new partner, Frank Murphy, is an old nerd who has been in Cyber Crimes for his whole career. After Frank discovers a clue that could lead to a bust, Mitchell convinces him that they should be the ones to investigate the lead. It turns out to be much more dangerous than either of them thought.

Characters:
Mitchell O’Conner (Male; Mid 20s to Early 30s)
A young (former) Vice detective who has earned a reputation as a loose cannon. His last arrest led to the partial destruction of City Hall. Due to this, the Chief decided to transfer Mitch to a quiet job behind a desk in the Cyber Crimes Division. Mitch is bored out of his mind behind the desk, not to mention his new partner is a total nerd and has no desire to get out in the field. He hopes to redeem himself in the eyes of the Chief so he can get out of Cyber Crimes and back on the streets where he belongs.

Frank Murphy (Male; Late 40s to Mid 50s)
An old nerd who has been in the Cyber Crimes Division for his entire career. He grew up on 70s and 80s pop culture and refuses to let it go. Frank is very content with just staying behind his desk all day. The Chief is always sending him loose cannons who need to learn some self control. They usually don’t stay in Cyber Crimes very long once they’ve learned their lesson, but there is something different about this new guy. Frank hopes he can show Mitch that there can be just as much action behind the screen as there is on the streets.
