Auditions will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2019 between the hours of 10 AM and 2 PM
“I Hate Crimes” is a film about the lengths someone would go to get justice. While on a break from college Caleb decides to go to his grandmother’s grave with his friend Cooper. While there, they are approached by Ian with whom will do anything to be their friend. Why are they being openly dismissive of Ian? And why doesn’t Ian take the hint?
Roles:
[HANNAH] [GENDER: FEMALE] [AGE:70-86]
Hannah is one of fifty children rescued from Nazi Germany after Kristallnacht. She has now created a life for herself and had a grandson, Caleb. Hannah has seen many things happen over her life and just wants the world to be better.
[CALEB] [GENDER: MALE] [AGE: 20-23]
Caleb is currently in college. He is a smart mouth and very quick to argue. However, he really cares about his family and what it means to ‘do the right thing.’
[COOPER] [GENDER: MALE] [AGE:20-23]
Cooper is Caleb’s best friend. They are very similar in personality, but he is a bit quicker to deflate in an argument. Cooper would do anything to help Caleb even if it would get him into trouble.
[IAN] [GENDER: MALE] [AGE:20-23]
Former high school classmate of Caleb and Cooper’s. Very awkward, on the annoying side, and can’t seem to take a hint. Desperately seeking Caleb and Cooper’s approval and will go out of his way to get it.
